Southall Group Ministry

The Southall Group is a partnership between the five Church of England congregations in Southall. In additon to St George's they are:

The five churches in the Southall Group have made a commitment to work together and support each other in our shared mission and ministry to Southall. We aim to use our gifts as effectively as we can to take God's love to local people and to transform Southall through collaboration and engagement.

Our common hope is that our churches will grow stronger through active lay leadership and involvement in the community. We believe we can make this happen by:

• Providing training
• Developing and strengthening our links with existing community organisations
• Expanding our work in schools
• Joint youth work

An example of this ministry is by being members of West London Citizens, an alliance of various community organisations who work together to bring justice and fairness to our communities. We also work together to support the church in Lichinga, Mozambique.
