Children's Sunday Club

Our children’s Sunday club meets every Sunday morning. The club is open to children aged 3 – 11 years old.

The main aim of Sunday club is to teach children about God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit in a fun and relevant way. We use a dedicated range of Christian resources to connect with this age group.

A typical Sunday club session opens with a prayer. The children are then encouraged to talk about the past week and guided into conversation on relevant topics. For example, they might be asked about ways in which they care for other people, or encouraged to comment on the bible stories read to them.

The children participate in a range of creative activities, including drawing and painting, paper crafts, group singing and games. Every session ends with a prayer for the week ahead.

The club encourages good behaviour through the use of a ‘Good behaviour’ aeroplane wall chart and helps children to share in birthday celebrations for club members. A summer and Christmas party are held every year and regular outings are arranged, such as trips to Southall Park and the Great Western Railway Museum.
