Emmanuel Healthcare India, renamed EMMS, has been active in the field of medical mission since 1841.

EMMS International is involved in primary healthcare programmes in India, Nepal, Malawi and Israel as well as supporting students with grants for their electives, and providing medicines to mission hospitals in many countries throughout the world.
