EMMS International

We are particularly supporting the renovation of Chinchpada Christian Hospital in India. Chinchpada Hospital was established in 1942 as a small clinic and now has 80 beds. Some patients travel as far as 50 miles to access its high quality yet low cost healthcare, especially in surgery and maternity services.

Chinchpada Hospital was incorporated into the Emmanuel Hospital Association in 1974, which is now part of EMMS International. EMMS International is involved in primary healthcare programmes in India, Nepal, Malawi and Israel as well as supporting students with grants for their electives, and providing medicines to mission hospitals in many countries throughout the world.
