ALMA

As part of our Southall Group ministry St. George's has established a link with the town of Lichinga in Mozambique. The objectives of the link are to build a new church and train 10 people to become church leaders over the next 5 years. We are planning a trip to Lichinga in 2010. Click here to see Lichinga.

Alma is a partnership between the Anglican Church in Angola, London and Mozambique, set up in 1998. ALMA aims to build closer relationships between participating dioceses so that they can share resources, experience, wisdom, insight and gifts to proclaim the message of salvation through Jesus Christ.

ALMA promotes the message of the gospel and justice. Angola and Mozambique are two of the poorest countries in the world; ALMA supports the battle to fight poverty in both countries by many different means, including debt relief.
